# Project O2

> Project O2 is a European reforestation initiative that uses drone-seeded "SeedBombs" and GIS / multispectral surveys to restore degraded land 3–5x faster than traditional methods. We work with state forestry agencies, NGOs and ESG-driven companies to plant biodiverse forests across Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Serbia and Kosovo.

## How the methodology works (4 steps)

1. **Terrain analysis & UAV survey** — GIS mapping of soil, climate, slope and existing vegetation. Multispectral drone surveys produce a precise picture of the land before planting.
2. **SeedBomb production** — specialised seed balls containing a curated mix of native, climate-resilient species and natural pest repellents.
3. **Drone-seeded planting** — custom "seed launcher" drones disperse SeedBombs from 10–30 metres altitude across terrain inaccessible to conventional planting.
4. **Monitoring & verification** — follow-up surveys confirm germination, survival rates and biodiversity outcomes.
