On a one-hectare site, several hundred young trees were planted, set to grow into a vibrant new forest. Among participants were also students from Vukovar Gymnasium, demonstrating that meaningful change begins with knowledge, unity, and action.

Alongside hands-on engagement in planting, BOSQAR also provided financial support for the procurement of 2500/ha seed balls (SeedBombs), contributing to the success of the initiative and supporting the restoration of local forests.

Knowledge as the Root of Change

Project O2 is an initiative developed by the company Magic Forest from Grubišno Polje with a mission to combat deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions through science-based, natural solutions for forest regeneration.

Before the planting, the Project O2 team conducted a short educational workshop demonstrating drone-based planting techniques, showing how self-germinating seed balls ("SeedBombs") are dispersed efficiently, even in remote or fire-affected areas.
