The drone’s takeoff brought joy to the children, and when they saw what it was carrying aloft, they were thrilled. It can quickly reach places that are hard for people to access and performs reforestation on their behalf.

“It really throws it, it’s fascinating, a spectacle,” were some of the children’s comments.

They were eager to learn everything about the drone.

Inside the seed pods is a mix of nutrients and seeds from various tree species.

“So that nature can decide which species is most suitable for this territory, for this climate, for this ecosystem, and if disease strikes one species, others will survive,” says Lara Vukosavljević, an ecologist.

Seeds of new life

Thus, the forest will grow unstoppable, as will the friendship of those who planted it.

“We came to take part in reforestation, but above all we came so the children could socialize and meet the Vukovar butterflies,” says Tanja Delladio, coach of the Fuji Judo Club for people with disabilities.
